Kings Central Park in Werrington has been completed by our NSW construction team, a new community by Lendlease, with design by Place Design Group.
Residents now have access to green space and an exciting new playground, with swings, trampolines, climbing structures, seating areas, a learn-to-ride bike track, a grassed kickabout area and fitness equipment. Shade shelters have been installed, along with footpaths built, new fencing, irrigation and an abundance of planting.
The park pays homage to its location on Dharug Country through interpretive art, created in collaboration with Dharug Educators and artists Leanne Watson and Erin Wilkins.
The official opening of the park took place in October, attracting many members of the Kings Central community for food and fun. Special thanks to our delivery team for the dedication put into this project and the lead up to the big event.
In addition to Kings Central Park, our team also constructed Eastern Park which provides residents with picnic shelters and open lawn space.
