Stoneleigh Reserve Park was upgraded for the larger Logan Reserve for Logan City Council. The project involved a number of improvements to the space for the local community, including a completely revamped playground. An official opening took place recently, with the local community coming together to enjoy the upgraded space.
The upgrade of the park included a colourful new basketball half-court and a two-storey climbing tower with a mix of slides. In addition to these, the QLD team installed swings, a play water pump and shade sails. The blue and green colourways were specifically chosen to complement the neighbouring bushland. The upgrade has been welcomed by the local community, particularly the younger generations who are having a ball climbing and sliding on the new equipment.
