Work for our construction team has kicked off on the Everleigh Sports Oval in Greenbank, QLD.
A $10 million dollar project, the 5.5 hectare AFL Oval is the initiative of Mirvac, in partnership with Logan City Council and AFL Queensland. Designed by Form Landscape Architects, the precinct will include a full-sized field, warm-up oval and clubhouse.
The destination will provide the wider Logan community with space to participate and get involved in a sport that’s proving to be extremely popular with juniors in Queensland.
Mirvac Queensland General Manager Residential, Warwick Bible, said the Everleigh AFL Oval was a great addition to the fast-growing community.
“These fields are the first stage of what will become one of the region’s most significant sport and recreation precincts and it has been fantastic to work alongside Council and AFL Queensland to ensure a top-class design,” he said.
“Facilities such as these play such an integral role in developing community and we see the fields, and the broader precinct, becoming a place for people to come together – to enjoy a game, or simply kick a ball with family and friends.”
